Styling: Alt Summit Dinner
I'm back from a few busy days in Salt Lake City, where I worked with ulive, one of the sponsor's of this year's Alt Summit. To kick off the conference, ulive held a dinner for 40 attendees on Wednesday night at Cucina Toscana in downtown Salt Lake, and I was lucky enough to get to design the tablescape for the special occasion. My inspiration for the table was based off of the color of the ulive logo - orange! The tablescape ran in a gradient of orange - with an ombré of yellow, orange, peach, pink, and red tones cascading down the table. I worked with the very talented Salt Lake florist Sarah Winward on the table, who selected all of the beautiful stems to fill the 70+ bud vases I had chosen for the table. Additionally, I hand painted hurricane vases within the dedicated color palette, which were scattered amongst the florals.I designed the menus with just a touch of orange, as I knew there would already be plenty of color on the table. They were printed on a heavy card stock and sat beautifully atop the white linen and china place settings.Once the table was all set and the candles were lit, the room looked absolutely gorgeous.I'll be sharing more photos from Alt over the next couple of days, so stay tuned!
