Baked: (mini) Naked Cakes

Naked cakes are clearly a popular choice for this year's Fall brides...I have 3 different naked cake orders in September alone. Since many of my wedding clients are in the process of selecting flavors, I've been making a few mini versions of the cakes for tastings and thought I'd show them off since they're so darn pretty. Here's a little look at some mini (6" and 4" round) naked cakes I made for the last tasting. I love the blackberry and chocolate cake - isn't that combination just gorgeous?! And those flavors together - the chocolate with buttercream and blackberries - beyond delicious!I was so very flattered when ABC News interviewed me on the cake trend earlier this summer.
