Piped Dreams Cake

I've been having the urge to do some free form cake decorating lately, and with a few free hours this morning that is exactly what I did. I made my buttercream palette prior and had a couple inspired thoughts in mind, but then I just went with the flow...and man, did it feel good. The final result is below. My only regret is that I wish I would've done it on a styrofoam cake round, so I could admire it for just a little while longer. But since it's a delicious vanilla cake I baked this past weekend...well, I'm definitely not going to let that go to waste.
